Tinyhood helps parents access expert-led parenting classes and resources—but their class pages and mobile video experience weren’t delivering the clarity or ease parents needed. Browsing and selecting classes could feel cumbersome, and watching videos on mobile web was less seamless than it should be.
We partnered with the Tinyhood team to design new features and make iterative improvements to both their web and mobile platforms. We focused on three key areas: the first-time user experience, overall navigation, and the class browsing and viewing experience.
We began with a collaborative kickoff to define goals, followed by a comprehensive product design assessment of the existing experience. This included a UX audit, baseline usability testing with parents in Tinyhood’s target audience, and Hotjar session analysis to uncover real-world friction points.
Working directly with the founder and small team, we explored ways to break up large sections of content into approachable chunks, integrated helpful printable materials to support video lessons, and created landing pages for easier discovery of relevant topics.
The result is a learning experience that feels effortless to navigate, visually engaging, and thoughtfully tailored to the needs of busy parents. By making it easier to discover, watch, and act on expert-led parenting content—whether on desktop or mobile—Tinyhood can better fulfill its mission of supporting parents with timely, practical guidance at every stage of their journey.
